Headteacher's Welcome
Having worked in education for over thitry years there is one thing that has really stuck with me and that is that every child is an individual. They all come with their unique personalities, strengths and needs and this is what, at Hertford, we aim to recognise and support as best we can. Every school is also different and are aims at Hertford are simple, we want a school where children and families feel that they belong, can thrive and can work together as a community and this is what I truly believe in.
We aim to recognise and build on children's strengths but also to support them with their areas for development and teach them that we are all different, however we can all overcome challenges, develop resilience and independence and succeed.
I hope the website gives you the information you need but if you are considering Hertford for your child then please do come and visit us, nothing compares with seeing a school in action and getting a real sense of the place.
