Science
At Herford, we encourage our children to become curious and confident scientists who enjoy asking questions and exploring the world around them. Our teachers are dedicated to giving students meaningful learning experiences, helping them develop their own ideas and build strong scientific skills. These skills and knowledge, we help our students succeed as scientists both in and out of the classroom.
Forest School
Our Student have the chance to build their scientific thinking during forest school sessions. The forest school lead and teachers plan activities that connect with what students are learning in class and meet National Curriculum requirements. Our safe and engaging outdoor space helps children understand how nature changes and encourages them to work together, take on challenges, and grow their scientific knowledge.
